Recurring debit order (pathetic service)

Another month, another debit order gets deducted.

I have now cancelled this contract with Vodacom on 3 separate occasions and each time i am told that the their will still be one more debit order deducted from my account.

This has been an ongoing saga for the last three months. What i do not understand is, where is the written or verbal proof that i want to continue with this contract? I am under the impression that you cannot any longer just continue a contract without some verbal or written communication giving you express permission to do so.

I have had to call again this morning and was now told that this contract was only cancelled in December! I was also told that the debit order that was just taken from my account will be the last one! Meanwhile Vodacom has taken the last three debit orders which they also claimed where the last one. At least i got a reference number for all the good that will do.

Ridiculously pathetic service from Vodacom, absolutely shocking what lengths they will go to in order to make a few extra rands.
