Received phone faulty and being ignored by vodacom

I signed up for an upgrade on Tuesday 14th and by wed I received a Samsung S6. The screen of the phone unfortunately doesn't respond properly (faulty unit)
I contacted Vodacom on the same day (I was told I have a peace of mind period of 7 or 14 days cant remember).
I was told the phone would be collected and that a new one will be sent to me . I requested that for efficiency sake, the person picking up the faulty handset drops off the new one and the lady on the phone said she would enquire and let me know.
Since then silence (when it was about selling the upgrade to me I received 5 smses in 1 day updating me on the progresses)
I called Vodacom and after waiting for 30 min the first time (the automated thing dropped the phone on me 3 times as I do no longer qualify for an upgrade ) I spoke to a call center agent who told me transaction (my upgrade) was done by a 3rd party so I have to deal with those people . Basically I have to sort this out myself
I am extremely unhappy. As it stands I have cancelled insurance on my current phone and paying for a S6 I do cannot use and no one bothers.
If by today this is not sorted I am cancelling everything. my ref is ***7
