Really bad communication
So I just received a notice from Burnard Raaff alleged duly appointed legal representative of Vodacom where they allege I in my personal capacity owe Vodacom money. Firstly they failed to identify themselves properly and were extremely rude and obnoxious on the phone. The statement they presented did not even have my name spelt correctly on it which is highly suspicious. The big problem here is that I did not even know I was indebted to Vodacom in any way. No phone calls no written notices absolutely nothing and bang suddenly I am being threatened with court summonses for a miserable amount of money. I have been a loyal Vodacom client in my personal and corporate capacity since the late 1990's when the cellular business started in SA that's 30 years or more. I am still a Vodacom client. My contact details and address have been exactly the same for more than 20 years. I have had multiple contracts with Vodacom. Vodacom know exactly who I am where I live and what my mobile number is. Nothing has changed. I received no communication whatsoever. Is this the treatment you get for being a loyal personal and corporate client for more than 30 years ?
Try contacting Vodacom to sort out this mess no chance you hang on the phone for 15 to 20 minutes and then get cut-off.
