R85k bill
Two days ago, I received a call from Vodacom's attorneys. My account had been handed over to them, due to non-payment. The amount in question being R84,481.31. Vodacom has not contacted me regarding this.
I requested for the statement. There were two invoices on the statement which I had not received: 1. R42,642.57 on 2017/02/06 2. R10,966.86 on 2017/10/10
It appears that someone upgraded my contract, and took out an iPhone 7 plus, without my consent or knowledge. I went to Vodacom today to obtain the invoices. They can only see the R10k invoice.
The customer service cannot provide me with the upgrade documentation as well as the invoice. I was referred to the attorneys. The attorneys are sending me back to Vodacom.
I am basically asked to pay R85k for a phone I have not taken out within 6 days, and no one as able to furnish me with documentation for this "debt".
