R6000.00 to repair a phone still on contract.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Contract on the 21 of September,2013. On the 15th of February 2015 I took the phone into Vodaworld,Midrand for repair as it would keep switching off and eventually wouldn't switch on. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything I phoned the repair center and they said,\oh you can come in to collect it."I get there on the 8th of March only to find that the phone was returned unrepaired because they require the original battery which I then gave to them. On the 17th of March I received a call that it would cost R6000.00 to repair the phone. The phone is not covered by the contract as I had a small dent on the top corner of the phone after dropping it. When buying the phone I searched all over to find a cover for it but couldn't find one any were as the phone was not very popular (Vodacoms fault). To top things off why should I continue paying for my contract when the phone doesn't work and I'm getting nothing out of it. I am supposed to upgrade in August so until then I don't have a phone as I cannot afford to pay R6000.00<br> !!! """
