R37 000 bill for data in one month without warning

I received a call from Vodacom this afternoon saying my data was suspended. I am on a 2Gig Mofaya contract. I have never ever exceeded my monthly limit for over a 24 months period. I was today told that I exceeded and that my monthly bill was standing at over R37 000. My monthly payment is about R250. My biggest shock is for my account to be stopped at such a high amount from my monthly use. If the charged data useage is correct, surely it did not occur at an instant, it took time to build up- why was there no earlier warning. Why only now? Surprisingly, the only sms alert came only 5 minutes after I received the call this afternoon (12h30 to be precise). This is ridiculous and as far as I'm concerned a clear case of ****************. I would really appreciate an urgent investigation into this and a speedy resolution.
