R2867.92 unexplained debit order - Vodacom Wonderpark Mall I***-0

Transferred my line from my employer to my personal line on the 11 Oct. signed the contract that contract takes effect from 15 Oct therefore i will be billed every 15th of each month.

Was told i am due for upgrade and i gladly chose a phone and i was connected no worries. The consultant who assisted me emphasised, NB emphasised that under no circumstances will i be billed more than R989 per month. i signed and i received an sms to say my Uchoose 500 upgrade has been concluded.

My chosen contract was going to give me R500 airtime and when i exceed I will be softlocked. I used my account until the last day of the month without the softlock and i thought i was still within the limit. on the 17th of November i was woken up by a debit order of R2980 by Vodacom, no softlock no statement no e-mail/sms.

I started calling Vodacom on the 18th November until Monday with no joy. The consultants are dodging me, nobody wants to give me any explaination, even the consultant who was asssisting me to transfer has no answers for me, since she promised to call Head office and call me back on Monday until now. I went to Vodacom store in Pretoria Sunnypark and one consultant told me that they can't assist me the best thing for me is to complain on "Hello Peter". Imagine been told by consultants to complain elsewhere...I am so tired already and Vodacom better refund me or I will seek some other form of remedy. If they cannot stick to our agreement to initiate the amount that i had signed for and from the date that I had signed for then it means they can't be trusted.

Worst of all, they have a nerve of sending me an sms to rate the last service I have received???? I am so aggrieved, I mean who wants to part with R1900 just like that...

I want my Refund Vodacom or else I'm heading to Ombudsman!! my account no: I ********** -0
