R2000 for an upgrade fee even though the phone is due for an upgrade

I have been charged (and Vodacom have deducted via debit order, without permission) an amount of R2000 for an upgrade fee? The number that was upgraded was on an expired contract and i have never in all the time I have had a contract with Vodacom been charged an upgrade fee and I certainly was not informed or agreed to a TWO THOUSAND rand upgrade fee! I have been trying to get this matter resolved since the beginning of January 2017 but Vodacom just ignore their customers and then take whatever amounts they want via debit order. I am FURIOUS. I wish I was in a position to cancel all 6 lines that I have with Vodacom. I also couldn't get a replacement sim card for a number on my contract because of this upgrade fee showing as OVERDUE (when the account gets paid via debit order). You have embarrassed me and shown that my loyalty to your company means exactly sweet nothing!
