R20 000 in debt from an error a Vodacom employee made with no help from Vodacom to fix the problem.

I bought 2 phones with Vodacom through game. I signed a contract where by I'd be paying R350 per month for 2 years. I signed the contract for a top up contract. When the first bill arrived it was slightly more which I was told to expect. The second bill had me disgusted and confused. It was R13 000. Confused and in panic I contacted Vodacom as to what had gone wrong. Given that it's a top up contract and shouldn't run into more than R350. I was absolutely shocked when I found out that the Vodacom consultant who I signed my contract with had put me on an open line contract, which I never signed for. You must understand that I am not able to pay this amount as I am a single mother who has no support from the father and I have to support my whole family. After many tears and frustrating phone calls to try and sort this problem out over the last 9 months, I still have not received any help or feed back. I've been told that the bill is now at R20 000 and it's been handed over to the lawyers even though no response was received from my side. I tried to pay some of it but my number and account was blocked. I'm disgusted in the service from Vodacom. I'm terrified because I need help with this issue. It's gotten so bad that one of the consultants at Vodacom who was trying to help has received no response back either and has also suggested that I try this option. It must be a common problem if even the staff within Vodacom are holding their hands in the air and apologizing and telling me to go this route. Absolutely shocking. I would never suggest anyone gets a Vodacom contract ever. You could end up like me with R20 000 debt and possible blacklisting because of an error that one of their staff made. I wish they would just sort it out or help me.

Instead of hearing from your consultant... I've now been contacted by your debt collector who now tells me it's R30174. How is it possible that it's gone up another R10 000 in a week when the Sim card is not even in the phone? This is absolutely shocking. Your *****ing money from people

No you haven't. You've done absolutely nothing to help and today I can't get hold of anyone further to help.
