R20,000 DATA THEFT - No Feedback On Investigation

In June 2015 I had a data device ******. Immediately after this I reported the theft to Vodacom and requested the line be blocked with immediate effect.

Then suddenly in January 2016 and February 2016 there was suddenly over R22,000 of data usage logged against the number - WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BLOCKED??

I contacted Vodacom early March as soon as I picked up the excessive data use and the call center agent I spoke with raised the issue with the Vodacom ***** department with instruction to me to send through an affidavit. The affidavit was sent to Vodacom straight thereafter.

Now it's 4 weeks later and I've still not heard a word back from Vodacom. Further my line has been suspended due to non-payment.

So I phone Vodacom today and they tell me that there is still no feedback. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE? 4 Weeks?

So now, Vodacom, please may I get some urgency into this investigation? Failing which if I don't I will need to be in contact with the Ombudsman.

Thank you.
