R100 Penalty on Returned Debit Order!!! No Communication received.

I changed Banks from Standard Bank to FNB, I did not receive any confirmation from either FNB nor Vodacom to confirm that bank details were ammended successfully. This resulted in Provision for the Debit order not been made on My new bank account assuming that Vodacom would debit my Old account since there was no communication from Vodacom confirming this. I called the Service centre to make payment which falls before the 7th of the month. I was told by the agent that I will pay a R100 Penalty. I told her that I wont as I am making payment before the 7th of the Month as per the Consumer Protection Act. Furthermore, Vodacom made no attempt to contact meregarding this, The Agent said that if I dont pay VODACOM WILL JUST TAKE THE MONEY!!!! I am utterly disgusted in this company's attitude towards MY MONEY!!! if this is not resolved I will instruct the bank not to allow any debit orders from Vodacom. upon selection of the debit order option there was no mention of Penalty of R100.00 nor do I see this stipulated in the Terms and Condtions that I signed. I was further inconvenienced with a R100.00 Penalty from FNB for the Bounced Debit order Simply because Vodacom did not have the decency to communicate and varify the change of bank details and by which date it will be effective.

Still no regard from Vodacom to provide any sort of customer service, only serves to prove that this company is only interested in their own gain with zero ethic governance, customer service or consideration or respect for their customers hard earned money, as a corporate Giant they do as they please with no recourse and no responsibility for their bullying tactics its not about 1c or 1mill Rand... it's about the principal. c'mon people if they are swindling even one extra rand from each client a month it adds up very quickly and its theft.
