R10 for what!!!
If you wush to take out a contract with Vodacom - think again!
At the beginning of the year, my husband renewed my cellohone contract and they could not be bothered to state that you have to pay an extra R10 to activate your Caller ID to view who is calling you. So everyone , including your own contacts comes up as Unknown number. Contract users have to pay this, prepaid users get this service for free.
Vodacom is also suppose to have the Contract details - to see whom the phone belongs to - no we as the customer need to provide all the information. You also have to state what time would be more convenient for them to phone. Well hallo!!!! How must each person know what the other person is doing???? Some companies do not allow their staff to have their phones on them during working hours so how can you know when a convenient time will be?????
When Vodacom agents phone and you ask for the number to phone back- they put the phone down in your ear. You phone every time to have a matter resolved, and if there is some info you do not have on you to provide at that moment and ask to phone back, it gets put down in your ear. When my contract came up for renewal and each time i asked the agent if i can get my husband to phone them back, the phone was put down in my ear. I ask what the reason for the phone call is, the phone was put down in my ear. If a deal comes up on offer and the agents phone and you state that you do not want to change and before you can say that in maybe 3 months or so you want to look at a new contract for your family member, the phone gets put down in your ear.
Then you waste so much transport money to have issues resolved because the person who is dealing with the contract is not there, come back the next day. Go back two days later, no sorry the peraon is on leave. Go back a week later, no sorry the credit forms was never submitted to see if you qualify or not. You get more assistance from retail outlets than from Vodacom themselves.
So do tell me, how are customers expected to resolve issues when you are treated like this??? And then customer care agents wonder why people tell them to take a hike???
