R 2000 per GIG data charge

I am on a R 149 per month 3 GIG data. I have in the past requested Vodacom to cap my data at 3 GIGs and not allow usage over 3 Gigs. However in April 2015 I did go over 3 GIG. To my astonishment the data price increases to R 2000 per gig out of bundle. Call centre operators confirmed the charge at R 2 per mb which equates to R 2000 per gig.<br> First of all this is *******.<br> Second my request to be capped was not adhered to. I am not giving Vodacom an open cheque book to run data at R 2000 per gig on my account.<br> How can the price of data escalate from R 49,76 per gig to R 2000 per gig.<br> I have requested to be charged normal top up rates for data used out of bundle as per my request to be capped but no luck.<br> Treating your customer fairly legislation clearly does not apply to Vodacom.
