QUICK TO TAKE MONEY-REFUSE TO GIVE SERVICE

I have had the most horrible experience regarding Vodacom Repair Centre today. For everyone to understand my frustration, let me explain the situation. We have 5 mobile contracts with Vodacom, all adding up to OVER R3000 p/m. In the years that we have had contracts with Vodacom,we have never had any problems with them. However, our problems started when upgrading one of the contracts to the new Blackberry KeyOne mobile phone on 2 December 2017. We had asked for the Blackberry KeyOne Black Edition. Upon arriving back at home when we open the box,it is not the Black Edition that we asked for,but the black and silver KeyOne. We accepted this and went about,as we felt that we were extremely happy with the phone,so to complain about something as small as the color would not be necessary. On Saturday 13 January 2018,the phone slipped out of my pocket, and the screen cracked, causing the minimise button to completely stop working, the phone is now minimising apps when I use a button on the qwerty keypad, locking the phone or changing full-screen apps to half-screen. When I phoned Vodacom to report what happened,I was informed that my warranty is void (WITHOUT them physically seeing the phone) stating that "you broke the phone, not us" (direct quote of a Vodacom repair centre employee) . When I upgraded my contract,I could have switched networks to MTN or CellC,but I stayed with Vodacom despite it being so expensive and data being deducted for nothing, because I have always received good service from them. However, after today,I am seriously considering switching networks,as Vodacom has only been *****ING MY MONEY OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS!! Utterly, utterly dissappointed, and would never trust another Vodacom employee again!!
