Quick to PUSH us into upgrades... After sales service ZERO!

Last week Thursday I received a call from Vodacom alerting me to the fact that I was up for an upgrade. Pinky from the upgrades and cancellations department called me and we finalised the entire process. The last detail needing finalisation was delivery if the device; I explained to Pinky that I was not stationed in one place and requested delivery to be taken by a 3rd party, she said she would call me back to confirm my 3rd party's details - she never called me back. Fast forward to Tuesday 12/11/2019 I received an SMS from Ram notifying me that my phone had been dispatched and that the delivery would take place on that day. Ram then called me in the afternoon to notify me that there were issues as Vodacom had not given them permission to allow a 3rd party to take delivery of the phone; they sent a message to Vodacom requesting this and were awaiting approval. Tuesday and Wednesday no response from Vodacom. On Thursday 14/11/2019 I decided to call Vodacom myself to find out what the hold up was; spoke to 4 different ladies who referred me back to the same Pinky who made a message of everything. They all sent Pinky emails requesting her to call me back with one of the ladies even walking over to her desk to ask her to take time out of her busy life to call me and rectify this - no call from Pinky. At 15:30 on Thursday I decided to escalate this matter as it had been 3 days that couriers were driving around with my phone unable to deliver it. I spoke to a gentleman calles Masilo who explained that he was a team leader. He assured me that all details were updated, that Ram has confirmed my 3rd party's details for delivery and the phone would be delivered today. Out of having no trust in Vodacom I called Ram wanting to track my parcel and they explained that my phone was on its way back to Vodacom as they had exhausted all avenues to try and deliver... I'd love to say I'm surprised but really I'm not. Pinky are you still calling me? It's been 4 days - phone Dololo. I am Ofentse Molefe
