****py service Vodacom
Hello Peter It is with further frustration i write to you re the shambolic service i am still receiving from Vodacom. Attached is my original letter dated 31 May i wrote to you detailing my entire saga. I must say upon immediate publication of this letter i had a call from a vodacom rep apologising and assuring me this will get resolved within 24 hours. I was asked to purchase a new sim card and do a sim swop. I did this at my own cost. I was even told i will be reimbursed for this. The fool i am, i believed them. To date NOTHING is resolved. I even bothered to call them again a number of times. The last lady i spoke to on 8 july assured me a consultant that deals with my unique complaint will call me. I was given this reference no. ***. Once again i waited to no avail.
Vodacom has proven they are a useless company with even more useless staff that are preprogrammed and cannot understand simple english. The manner in which they respond clearly shows they cannot tell their buttox from their elbow. Please can you advise me what legal recourse i have to sue these people for incompetence - get out of their clutches at no cost to me and join another service provider. Thank you Naseema Ebrahim ***
Il being advised that the original one will be cancelled. After repeatedly questioning and being assured this was the case I consented. In mid Feb I received a new sim card, inserted this and discarded the old after establishing the new one was activated. It was happy days until my first subsequent debit went off and was concerned that I was being charged for both. I assumed it was prorata after speaking to a rather uncertain call centre employee. It was only when I received the following statement it struck me that I am now being billed for 2 contracts. Something I never asked nor consented to. Might I add that 1 sim is long gone with my refuse collection. I made several calls to the call centre explaining my plight and was shunted from pillar to post. None of these employees knew what to do in this scenario. Some names I recall being Lebo, Puslepihle, and Cremilda. I was then promised that they will email a certain Curtis Green who would call me. I had to make several more calls before he eventually did. Curtis promised to resolve this and revert to me in a week. This did not happen. I continued in vain leaving messages for him as they not allowed to transfer calls to him I'm told. My last call was to a call centre male who while I waited on the line emailed Curtis and got an email response that he promised to call me the same day. I have exhausted all avenues in trying to get assistance to rectify a blunder they made but at my cost. Unable to afford this due to non employment during covid I have now put a stop to my debit order citing premium is not as per my contract as the reason. I do hope someone with a brain contacts me to get this resolved OR cancel these and I will gladly move over to a different service provider. However I demand a full refund of all overcharges thus far either way. Naseema M Ebrahim *** *** Original contract. *** New contract ***
