Pure incompetence and arrogance
I called Vodacom customer careline today to cancel a new contract I took earlier this month. I spoke to Mr Akanyang Molopelo who after informed me that i cannot cancel my contract because my account is in arrears. I asked why my account was in arrears and he informed me that because there is a debit order that bounced on the 16th October 2016. I informed him that the debit order did not bounce, i reversed it because i had already made a payment. After back and forth of me explaining why i made a manual payment i requested that put me through to his superior because he is rude and does not listen.
The Supervisor in Collections Mr Zolile Ndunge was even worse! Firstly he claims that there is no prove that i called Vodacom or someone from Vodacom called me making a payment arrangement. This is despite the fact that my debit order date was amended from last day of the month to 15th every month. I tried to explain this to him but he was just not having it.
I am annoyed and disgusted at their attitude but more so annoyed by Vodacom because they claim each and every conversation with a client is recorded. The two agents referred to here are quite rude and *********** frankly.
My request is still not resolved and my account is in arrears because I committed to a payment agreement i made with Vodacom!!!
