Providing false information
My mother and I started our relationship with Vodacom about 4 year ago. Even tough there were other service providers with better deals; I decided to initiate my network relationship with Vodacom with the expectation of getting quality service from this provider. However, last week Tuesday I went to the Rosebank outlet to transfer my contract from my mother's name to myself, at this visit the lady was very helpful but I did not have all the documentation. I went back on Sunday, where I was informed that there is a system migration and it will take approximately 2 months - unless I go to Vodaworld in Midrand where it will be instantaneously. So the same day I went to Vodaworld but they were closed. Yesterday I went back to Vodaworld with the expectation that I will sort out my problem in a matter of hiurs ... I was notified that it would be approximately the same period as mentioned earlier. My problem is Vodacom provided me with false information which led me to waste my time. Secondly, should a system migration affect the customer in any means? I definitely do not want to continue a business relationship with a company that I can not trust and does not put their customers first. This is really unfortunate.
