Provide false information to make sales
In April 2014 a woman called saying that her company was affiliated with FNB was running promotion for FNB customer and because I am valuable customer of FNB she would to offer to cellphone for free curtesy of FNB.
She I was to receive 50 airtime on each phone and only if I use the airtime then I will pay. She insisted and emphasised that the two phone were complete free that only the airtime is to be paid back. I agreed on taking the two phones based on the information provided.
Know it amazes me that few months later I am told I have a contract I'm not paying with Vodacom. I got the two phones with two Vodacom SIM cards which I have never open or used. I never used or received any airtime because it was made clear to me that if I used the SIM I will receive airtime and I will pay for it but the phones are for free curtesy of FNB. Then this simple means that Vodacom ******* me into taking a contract with them by providing with false information alluring me to agree to the sweet deals they said they were providing - all just to get a sale.
Is this how LOW you go now for sales ???
