Protect my information

Yesterday I received a call from ********** 400 claiming that they are calling on behalf of Vodacom and offered me a wireless router for R199 per month. Who gave Vodacom the right to give me contact details to some company? When I called back the line went dead. Please ensure that my number is removed from all marketing materials. I'm not interested in any products.
