Proof of Purchase
I bought a phone at Vodacom Online as a one time cash payment a month ago, last week the phone stops working so I take it to the Vodacom repair shop so that they can fix since it has only been a month and the phone is on 12 month warranty. I have the phone's original box, my purchase confirmation email from Vodacom but still the Vodacom repair shop tells me that I need a Proof of Purchase, otherwise they cannot fix the phone. I give them all my details and the IMEI number, and tell them to locate it on their system. they tell me that they cannot, I can call customer care then they will email it to me so that I give it to them, this was Monday.
I call customer care, they tell me to send an email to *** they will assist, I do so immediately and a generic automatic reply comes back with this reference "EC-170V-3DQOJ6 Proof of purchase" after that nothing, I email them again on Tuesday with this reference, no reply. I email them again on Wednesday, guess what no reply!
so I call customer care again, I tell them this, they don't know how to help, told me to keep trying, ain't nothing they can do! I email them again Thursday and Today! Nothing!! I call the call centre for Vodacom Online! NO HELP! I chat to them on twitter no help! I chat to them on Facebook No Help!!! I ask the guy at the Vodacom repair shop to call on my behalf, they are not helping him either!!
Why does Vodacom need Vodacom to give Vodacom a Proof of Purchase? Why are they stressing me like this? I have no phone now nor any means to do business or school work! This is horrible!
I AM NEVER BUYING A PHONE OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER FROM VODACOM WITH THEIR HORRIBLE TREATMENT!!!
