Promotion in conjunction with Samsung

I upgraded my contract on the 17/12/2017 and purchased a Samsung 8 plus. I was told to expect an SMS from Samsung but to date I have not received any contact. i did call Samsung but todate have not heard from them.

I am disappointed by the way this promotion has been run, where customers have to beg somehow to get the promised gift. My thinking is that Vodacom, the agent for Samsung should have played a bigger role in this process. I find it utterly unnecessary that I have to resort to sending this email, when Vodacom could facilitated the process of claiming the gift, as they hold all my personal details.

It begs the question as to whether Samsung was sincere in offering the gift or the grand plan was to push your products, and hope that customers would just forget.

I am now convinced that big business does not have our interests at all.
