Promises not kept

To whom this may concern Good day I really don’t know to do anymore – I have a huge issue regarding Vodacom. And this isn’t the first time this has happened. I didn’t really wanted to go this way, but with no feedback from Vodacom after I phoned them 3 times and all of them they told me they will come back to me. I did receive a mail and they supposedly phoned me, they asked when will I be available and I said Thursday 17:00 and the whole of Friday. I kept me phone by me but no one phoned this weekend as well.

Last year they have phoned me regarding an upgrade on my modem data. When it arrived they gave me a simcard – they I phoned them and ask what is was for they said it is an extra line. Then I told them that there is a big mistake because I just wanted more data on my existing contract. Luckily for my they listened to my recording and apologized nicely and even include the recordings in my mail and they cancelled that line (I was very pleased that they did it) because I feel that is how a business must be. I have always loved Vodacom and was very happy because I always urge people on to go to Vodacom.

Then on 26 January 2021, 09:37 with a total of 38.08 minutes (I believe that have recording) someone phoned me again regarding an upgrade of my phone and my Modem Gigs. The lady said if I was still happy with my phone in hand, then she will upgrade met with Airtime and upgrade my modem to 60 Gigs and then I will only be about plus minus R651.00 at the end of the both with both my phone and data(modem). So then I thought that will be great because I am currently paying R1200 a month – so wouldn't think that is a bargain so I said yes. I am single mother with no maintenance and I spare R600 (that is a lot of money for me)

The dates of call and recording: 26 January 2021 Time of recording: 09:37 Time of call: 38:08 Minutes Reference numbers *** More reference number: -*** : *** (Modem) But the following day I phoned Vodacom because they sent to envelopes for the school work for Children, I just wanted to know what it is – the I realized that I was going to get not what was agreed on. Now Suddenly I need to pay R1600.00 to upgrade which I couldn’t understand why. Then they said it is because it is two months. The lady on the phone said it will be from the end of the month with R150 admin fee, that’s all. She said nothing about the two months or the amount of R1600 otherwise I would’ve agreed because I don’t have that money and really thought it was something good that was happening to me. I spoked to 3 persons to help solve the problem – everyone said they will get back to me. Than about 3 days ago they send someone to fetch the school envelopes then I realized that they would rather leave my contract as is. I can’t even go in my Vodacom modem to see the data: it keeps on saying Failed to Subscriber contact.

I don’t want to go back to my original plan, I want the deal that was promised to me. The saddest of all is that this is the second time and they can’t ever apologize to me nothing.

I am fed up – nobody even have the decency to come back to me and after all the problems I have with them is that I am still with them for almost 20 years. How can you make promises that you can’t deliver 2 times last year and now. And now they ignore me pick up the children learning things without speaking to me.

I am a good customer and now this – and I kind of thinking to post and send his message won’t even help. We struggle a lot with signal and when you upgrade you only have one choice (caught by that one as well – every phone I choose they say it is discontinued- someone working from Vodacom, (Samsung 6 ,7 , 8, 9 and the S10 mini is the only phone available, my account went up with R450.00

So . . . if I didn’t notice the packages they collect they would’ve ignore me. So maybe I must cancel and go to another service provider now that I know I have to months left) The mail between them and me I was replying I don’t feel like a valued client

Good day

You can phone me tomorrow morning

I hope this is good news because I feel that I lost a lot of these stuff regarding what you promise - you did the last year

Otherwise you can phone me after 5 – I really want what was promised to me because like I said I was promised a lot of stuff. I am struggling with Momentum too – so I don’t like this stuff and would rather ask that you don’t give my number to anyone I don’t want to change, I like Vodacom but is very disappointed.

Just note – your number is SPAM and Potential ***** on my caller id

Kind regards Yolindi

Good day
On my account it shows that I owe R1428.51 for AprilAnd if I go to my other number : OOPS, Failed to set subscriber context
And I am actually not happy with this at all – I still feel that I actually lost.
I know that you try to make things happy but I have been cheated. On the 26th of January I was promised an Instalment of about R651, Airtime and 60 gig Anytime Data
Every one of you say that you understand but I realized that you said all the stuff just to get in my mind and make me confused – I have lost a great deal which that lady promised. Now you reverse everything and I must just be happy
My installment just keeping to go up, My data number isn't linked on my Vodacom app, so I can't even access it to check the data.

Everything is just going bad, nothing good seems to be happening.
I thought 26 January that I can save money and something good is happening and I can't believe that I am struggling from the 26th of January with this request.

you admit that according the recorded call that everything is exactly the way that I say.

and now you want to cheat me about a mistake to you made, and all you say is that everything is reversed, so I lost big time.

Just a question - you took two months for this by taking your time, and I want to cancel the data.
I don't trust you guys at all - and I don't know what to do anymore.

My usual amount I pay is R1283.00
On the 1st March I paid R1386.04
and now on my Vodacom is shows that my amount to pay is R1428.51 - why is the amount increasing all the time.

It feels that no one cares and I must just be happy but for what?
and it feels that I complain but you just don't care

I am really very disappointed in Vodacom

Kind regards
Yolindi
