Promises and Lies
About 2 months ago, I called Vodacom to ask for assistance regarding a data line i ahve. I was assisted by an advisor who offered to upgrade 2 of my contracts that was due only at the end of June. After negotiations, it was agreed that on my one number, I would receive 5GB data and on my other line 2GB. After month end, I noticed that I only received the 2GB as always. I called in and spoke to a lady who advised that she will get him to call me. This did not happen. After sending emails and still receiving no response, I finnaly asked for a supervisors details. This is when I then received a call. All of a sudden the advisor cant remeber saying this and disputes it. He promised to listen to the call and get back to me the following day. 2 weeks passed and again, countless e mails. i fiannlay logged a complaint on the customer service e mail address. Muneeb called and we discussed this whole cenario. Muneeb promised the same thing. almost a month later, i still do not have feedback. i send another e mail to the service e mail. Another person calls me, again promises to check with Muneeb to see what the feedback is. He even went as far as to say that he will get Muneeb to call me and that he will personally follow up with me on Sunday when he is on duty. Guess what? Still no answer, no call...nothing. I also failed to mention, when doing the upgrade, the advisor failed to mention that because we are upgrading the contracts 2 months ahead of the due date, that there will be extra cost occured. When I questioned this, I was told that Yes, you should have know this. So, if a compny/ person offers to upgarde your contracts, you dont think that there is hidden cost. You too glad to just ****** upgrade but I guess, this is another way for making a quick buck, by not disclosing to ypur clients that there is cost involved. I wonder what the regulating body will think of this? But never the less. So Vodacom, as I have typed in another e mail to you, is this how you treat your loyal client after 10 long years? is this now a sign to tell me to start cancelling my business and taking it elsewhere? lets see if you will respond...
