Promise of a 24 Hour Responce... Its been a month

On 16 January 2018 I received an SMS alerting me to a debit by Vodacom of an unusual amount. As my lines are Topup fixed billing lines, the additional amount caught my attention. I contacted Vodacom Customer care on 111 and was informed that a new data contract was taken out at a Makro store in the Eastern Cape. This was quite alarming as I live in KZN. The call centre agent asked me to please forward a copy of my I.D., sample signatures as well as a sworn affidavit describing the circumstances and e-mail this to the Vodacom ***** Division on ********** . This was promptly done and the call centre agent said I could expect feedback within 2 weeks. Two weeks later and still no news from Vodacom, not even a call. I contacted the call centre again and was again asked to forward the same documents to the same e-mail address. On 01 February 2018, I resubmitted the documents as requested. This time I asked for a read receipt which was received. Two weeks later, on 14 February 2018, and I receive an invoice from Vodacom showing that the ********** line will once again be deducted from my account. I promptly contacted Vodacom and spoke to a very helpful call centre agent who assured me that someone from the ***** department would contact me within 24 Hours. The next day the amount was debited from my account. I contacted Vodacom again today 16 February 2018, and guess what… you guessed it… “Someone will contact you within 24 hours”. Thank you Vodacom for your great service. I can’t wait for my legitimate contracts to end. I have been a Vodacom customer since 1999 and a contract customer since 2004. It’s a shame that poor service is going to loose you a loyal customer.
