PRODUCT SOLD UNDER FALSE PRETENSES

A call centre phoned me yesterday and before I knew it I had signed up for a wi-fi deal for R99 per month and 1GB data against the above referral number. The agent told me that it was a special deal only for long-term Vodacom customers. A few hours later I found out that this is not true. The deal is available for everybody and it's certainly not the hottest deal in town. I feel that the product was sold to me under false pretenses and so I tried to call the number in the confirmation sms that was sent to me but it does not exist. Delivery was promised on Friday or Monday but the couriers tried to deliver today already. I refused delivery and sent the product back. I spent the entire day today trying to get hold of a Vodacom representative on *** to assist me with cancelling this deal. As soon as I get through to a consultant the call cuts off and I have to start over again. I am resorting to this avenue of complaint now because if time keeps getting wasted the next thing I will be told is that my period of grace is over and then I'm stuck with something I don't want. Please contact me and assist me with this cancellation URGENT.
