Problem with Sim transfer on a prepaid contract

Hi, I had a phone for my son, which got broken at the end of June. It was unrepairable according to phone technicians. I threw it away with the sim. I bought a new phone this past weekend a Samsung J1 mini and requested a sim swap at a Vodacom store in Greenstone. At around 3Pm the same day I sent data and airtime, so that when the phone network was connected tothe phone we would be up and running. I was told it would take four hours. around 7pm It still wasnt working so I dialed the number from my own phone. Someone else answered the line. I phoned Vodacom promptly to ask why someone else is answering the line and what happened to my sim swap and that i had sent data and airtime R249 2GB and R29 airtime. They locked the line for me and when i asked about what i do with the money i spent on data and airtime she hung up in me! I called back again! he couldnt tell me much either and just asked me to wait until 24 hours are up. I ohoned this morning to find out whether the network is now linked to the ophone (I cant see because i locked the line) and whether the sim swap was successful. the first lady hung up and me and I had to phone back again!!! Then I was told all was success ful and that she would unlock the line and all would be well. I then turn on the phone, still no sms phone line or network. after 4 calls and no-one can seem to assist to resolve this! If I don'g get help I will remove the sim and go to MTN instead. Please help!!!!
