Problem still not resolved
I received a call on the 11th January as per the details below where I was asked whether I wanted to migrate my 4 contracts, I stated on more than one occasion I do not and cannot afford to pay further costs. I was told that there would be no further costs on any of the contracts and in fact I would be paying approximately R200 less and would be receiving additional data and also it would not affect the contract end dates. I was told that an email would be sent to me but the quotation was only received on the 2 February asking me to confirm acceptance of the quotation. I did not sign nor consent to the migration on the quotation. When I received my statement yesterday I noticed that there is an additional cost of R600 due to the migration. On the one line ...... *** which is about to end in May ending was increased from R521 to R912.00. I would like the contracts to please be reverted back to the original packages and a credit for the additional charges.
Activation/Migration/Upgrade Order number:*** • Created By agent username:LM_DOMIM001 • Dealer ID:VDLKM • Date of disputed Order:2024-01-11 10:23:23 • Number in question: ***, ***,***,***
I was then called on the 13th February at where a consultant stated that the migration would be reversed and the fee of R1600 would be wavered. I phoned Vodacom again on the 15th February 2024 at 15:34 the consultant advised that the would escalate the matter to the relevant department. I called Vodacom again today at 11h07 and the migration has still not been reversed and no credit has been awarded. I am not getting any resolve from Vodacom and am going to lay a complaint at the Consumer Board and Ombudsman.
