<p>I have a current 1gig Top Up data contract with Vodacom, which I would like to migrate to a 10gig Data Top Up contract. They want to charge me R 499-00 per month for it, while if I sign a new contract or upgrade my contract I will only pay R 299-00 per month. My question is, why is new customers more important to Vodacom than exsisting customers? Also is 10gig of data not suppose to cost the same, whether you are an exsisting customer or a new customer. Or is we as exsisting customers subsidysing the new customers.</p>

23 May 2017, 13:03Well, yes i did get feedback from Dane Larson and his reply was that any company want to make money and therefor give better deals to new customers. So I am welcome to take out a new contract with Vodacom, to get the better price, but because I already signed a contract with Vodacom, I will have to pay the full price of R 499-00 if I want to change my current contract. So bottom line is, we already got you in a contract, if you want a better price, sign a new contract. No thank you, time to look somewhere else with all my cell phone contracts.
