Premature Cancellation

I requested a quotation for the premature cancelation of my contract on 11 December 2016. I paid the quotation on the 17 of December 2016 and sent through all the documents as requested (ID, proof of payment and signed quotation). I received an automated response acknowledging receipt. Ref no: EC-04IT-23PTD7. When I went into a Vodacom shop a few weeks later, they told me that the quotation has expired and that my contract was still not cancelled. They then had to request the cancelation again. I see now on my statement that I am being charged for another cancellation fee (which is exactly the amount that I paid). They are telling me my account is in arrears, even though I pay via Debit order. Very clever....... I cannot get through to anyone at Cancelations, after being put on hold for more than 20 minutes. This is unacceptable service.
