Pre-order to get phone (NOT) at launch!

I pre-ordered for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge on the 17th March 2015 on the knowledge that I will receive my phone on launch date (10 April) and received a contract application approved email on the same date. On 7 April I received a call to say that I did not qualify for the S6 Edge (even though I received a contract approved email!). I reapp**** on the 7th April and once again got a contract approved email and went through the process was approved and told delivery will be by 15/04 and on 14 April received telephonic confirmation that my order will be delivered today and I even asked them to confirm that they had stock which they did. I am now being told that they do not have stock of the phone cover and am being told that I should wait another week for my phone which is ridiculous!
