Post Service Attention failure.

Vodacom is one of the best networks in RSA and perhaps even abroad, however the service I have received in the past 3 months rather proves contrary to the above statement. I had 24 Months data plan contract with them and likewise I have been paying them (Vodacom) very well and I decided let me rather settle the account, of which I did during the month of March 2016. I then, on the 26th of April 2016 checked my credit record and to my astonishment it showed as if I was still owing them the R109 and the most worrying part is it said NU (no update on the account) for both March and April 2016. On the 29th of April 2016 I called the call center and they transferred me to their Legal Department and I spoke to a Lady by the name of Grace at 11H06 and said she will sort it out. I asked for a reference number she said they do not give reference numbers, I said okay I will allow them the 21 days to process whatever and I will check after that. On the 27th of May 2016 I checked my credit record again and to no unusual surprise same info still appears amount due R109 but NU for March, April, and May 2016 respectively. I called Vodacom again on the very same day at 15H23 and spoke Caroline from Subscriber Collections Department. I requested for at least a settlement letter but they sent me back and forth and even 'til today I have not received the settlement letter after they promised to send it. I must make it clear that the monthly subscription is not being deducted by Vodacom from my account my worry is that, this uncleared error leaves an undesirably ***** on my name at the Credit Bureau and it definitely not a good record to have an account which has not update as to whether a payment has been made or not. I explicitly over a period 2 successive months asked them to kindly update my record accordingly on the Bureau but no one seems to be taking any account for this error. I am very disappointed at Vodacom, I mean if this is how the treat their customers after they’ve settled their accounts I doubt I will ever do any business whatsoever with them. I hope this can be attended to honestly with a sense of urgency and importance.

Frustrated and Former Customer.

***
