Porting price shocker !

I recently wanted to port an MTN number to Vodacom. Bought a starter pack , and followed the instructions on pack and googled the process to be sure. Only required to send an sms to the number given , including new vodacom sim pack number. Did that , only to receive a return sms stating " we are unable to process this request, please visit a Vodacom outlet " I did that, showed them the sent and received sms. I was told it was possibly a network issue as to why it returned this sms. I fail to believe that, as the first sms was sent and rep**** to immediately. I think its a money making **** ,as I was given a new sim card, Rica done there and then , BUT was charged R65 for the sim and process done via the shops computer system!!. I did the similar process at an MTN outlet last year , ( port from another network) , cost involved....R4 .. just the cost of the sim, nothing extra, done on their system. Also to Cell C , done early this year, only cost 2 sms's , so about R1,50 . Not done at Cell C outlet as there isn't one any more where I am ! So why the hell does Vodacom charge that for port assistance!!! An absolute ******* !!!
