It has been 77 days (2 months, 16 days) since I started this process to port my number from FNB back to Vodacom
(this must be a new record, or maybe just the new standard).
Deadline after deadline promises were made, but none were kept.

I can not complain about Vodacom's service thus far, because I have not received any.
I can not beleive that a company of this size can not even do a basic porting of a number.
I am sure that Vodacom do far more advanced things to their clients communications "RICA".
I received the following mail Saturday:
"Dear Riaan Deyzel
Thank you for your email.
I escalated the matter and the reference number is S4-00 ********** 0.
Kind regards,
A********* ***********s (I realy do want to start naming names)
Customer Care
Social Media Team"
I was also contacted by A********** ************s and told that the matter will be resolved in 2 to 3 business days.
This was business day 3, and it has not been resolved.
Not a single person from Vodacom has contacted me in the last 3 business days with any updates,
or just a call to say we are still working on your porting (because we care)

I have honestly not ever seen such bad customer service in a very long time.

Got the following message on Facebook 4 hours before I was about to send the above message,
but decided to post it anyway because it has now been 78 days (2 months, 17 days)and number still not ported yet,
and no details given or any updates except that another department is now handling it:

I have been moved from department to department:
1. Vodacom, The Bridge, Port Elizabeth
2. IT Department
3. Customer Care - Social Media Team
4. IT Department
5. Port Support

Latest correspondence from Customer Care Social Media Team
"24/05/2017@12:10
The request is in hand with the Port Support. They will be in touch once feedback is available."

Another 24 hours has gone by and still no feedback from the Port Support either.

I spoke to a very competent lady at Vodacom who has told me that the reason the porting is not working is because the porting was submitted via the old system and was supposed to go through on the 19th of May, but it did not because it should have been done on a new system called "C3D" So the old request has to be cancelled an submitted via the new system "C3D". You are welcome
