Porting nightmare

Yesterday morning I went into a Telkom mobile store to port from Vodacom to Telkom Mobile. Everything was done and I was told the port would be done overnight. 24 hours later my Vodacom sim still works. When I called TM they said Vodacom hasn't released my number. Called Voda and they said my number was released last night after 11pm. Called TM again and they said Voda still has my number. I believe TM because my Voda number is still working. Can Vodacom please release my number so I can enjoy cheaper data rates from Telkom Mobile. I've been a Voda customer for as long as I can remember but it's time for a change.
