Porting is a MESS

Don't even think about porting to Vodacom. They don't want your business.<br> <br> I tried to port a prepaid Cell C number to Vodacom. What a mess. I app**** in the George Garden Route Mall 4U store on 30 April. I phone three days later to check what the status of the port was. They told me there was a system error but promised it would be escalated and dealt with the next day (4 May).<br> <br> It wasn't.<br> <br> After huffing and puffing and demanding a supervisor to talk to, it was finally ported on the evening of the 5th.<br> <br> But SURPRISE, it can't receive calls. SMS come in just fine, but no calls at all.<br> <br> I finally take out the contract I wanted on the 6th of May. All right, I walk out. Number should be fine with 24h right?<br> <br> Nope. It's now 24h later. No contract, no calls.<br> <br> What the h-eck, Vodacom? I do business on that number and for three days now I can't receive a call!!!!!!
