POPPIA BREACH and poor service
I called Vodacom to cancel my upgrade on 21 June 2024. The agent convinced me to continue and provided me with an affordable package. We agreed on the new arrangement and he informed me that a certain courier company will deliver 2 packages. Monday i get a message from the courier company informing me my package is ready and will be delivered. I am suppose to give a copy of my ID and proof of address ( major discomfort) due to all the impersonation due to people personal information being obtained *******ly. I get my package and we part ways . Today i get a call from ANOTHER Courier company they have apackage for me .. so VODACOM shared my PERSONAL INFORMATION with 2 different Courier companies ( POPPIA Breach) that i want to be investigated. I only gave consent for my details to be shared with one company. Secondly they want ME (the customer) to inform the second courier company that i reject the second package and then call their cancellation department so that the y can remove the second package that was issued. If this process is not followed I will be billed double.HOW IS THIS TCF ??? Why are you inconveniencing me because your processes are flawed. I Want detailed feedback on the Privacy breach as well as why i am being inconvenience now.
