Poorly Trained Fibre Call Centre Agents

The Vodacom fibre call centre has been letting me down lately. On 16 February, I requested a migration of my fibre. I was told it would take up to 30 working days but I was also told the job would be marked urgent to see if it could be expedited. The person I spoke to this evening said there is no such thing and also said I might need to wait until 31 March. That is more than 30 working days. I asked if I would get a credit for all the time that I was paying for fibre access but did not have, seeing as I am no longer at the old address - I left 14 February and have not used fibre since then. The agent kept saying it would only be possible to say when I finally get fibre again. That makes no sense. If a service is not rendered, then why am I being billed for it? Yesterday, I spoke to a different agent to ask whether I should disconnect the modem at the old address when I next go there to collect items or whether someone from Vodacom is supposed to do it. They waffled and eventually said effectively that they do not know what the process is. He said to me I should wait for the engineers to contact me on an unknown date in the future and they would then go with me to remove it or they would remove it or they would tell me how to remove it or he was not sure what they would do. So, I am none the wiser about: 1. Whether I should attempt to remove the modem from the old address 2: Whether Vodacom is going to charge me for unused services (I did not say customers should wait 30 working days before getting service again) 3. When will the migration be done so I can try to make the necessary logistical arrangements.

What about my credit note for fibre services not used for a month? I have had to buy data bundles to stay connected at my new address. Why has Vodacom consistently failed to address that issue?
