Poor Vodacom service
For 12 days now we have no Vodacom signal at all...and there is a Vodacom tower on the lodge's property where I work. The lodge's name is Buffelskloof Lodge, just outside Lydenburg, we operate as a business lodge and all our guests staying with are here for work and need to have cellphone signal.
We have reported the issue numerous times to the tower's contact person for Mpumalanga and still we have no answers or signal. The original excuse was that the hub that Vodacom and MTN share are on the local community's land and has been taken hostage by the community because MTN isn't paying their monthly rental to the community.
Since we were informed of this on Monday 30 October, the MTN signal has been restored to the area, but Vodacom is still down. The Vodacom person that is supposed to give us feed back isn't answering our calls, whatsapps or any other form of communication whatsoever. I have phoned the Mpumalanga office also, and still we are not getting answers of feed back about the situation. I find it very unprofessional.
This is really affecting our business as a lodge as we can't receive any calls in regards to reservations and general enquiries but at the end of the month we must pay a full month's contract fee for our business contract with them.
