POOR SERVICE/CUSTOMER RELATIONS - FALSE ADVERTISING

Vodacom to say that your service and customer relations needs working at is an understatement. Our family have been clients since cell phones 1st came out. My daughter has had a contract on my husbands name since she was 13. Now 25, she decides to take out a contract on her own name. She sees the new Samsung S21 on pre-order and orders it, only to be told that she does not qualify. The cost is R625 pm. No reason as to why she does not qualify. Her credit rating is in good standing. After being transfered to a number of people she insists on having a manager return her call. The lady, who would not give her name, proceeds to tell her" i see that you have phoned 6 times already, did you think the outcome would change?' My daughter then informs her that , no she just wants to know why she does not qualify, what is there criteria in order to qualify for the phone. She is then informed that " i do not have the answers, just know that you do not qualify, if you are not happy go into the store". This when they themselves are working form home (as indicated to my daughter" and they advertise on their website to order on line due to Covid!! Bad enough having to contend with poor signal, falling signal or calls cut, but poor service and poorer customer relations does not make a company!!! Well MTN will gain a new client and i can assure you that when my contract expires we will be joining. Sorry Vodacom - you will not retain clients like this!!
