Poor service- Vodacom Shop Kempton park

On the 7th of October 2019, my son was ****** of his phone so he called Vodacom call center to do a sim swap. He was unsuccessful on this quest as he was told he answered the security questions incorrectly, he kept on trying for several times with no luck he was then advised to go a Vodacom store, but then the issue was, the consultant explained : the cellphone number in question was once on Contract under my name therefore I needed to go to the store with my ID book to get further assistance. Which I did on the 12th of October 2019 and I was assisted by Martha from (vodacom shop-kemptonpark) who then told me that the sim swap has been processed and the number will be ready after 3 hours. After a day we inserted the new sim card on a device and it showed "the sim card is not registered on network". We called in the call center only to find out the the sim swap has been cancelled. The next day my son went to (Vodacom-kempton park) to check what the issue might be, he was assisted by Kgauta who seemed rather moody or unfriendly and unwilling to assist , who then advised she cannot help as she requested for me to once again to through the store. My son had bring me so another sim swap can be done. On the 25th of October I went with my son to (vodacom shop Kempton park) I "unfortunately" was called for assistance by Kgauta who then told us that she wanted to ask security questions which we then explained that the reason we came through to the store its because we have failed to answer the questions asked through the telephone and if she asks the same questions chances are we still wont be successful. Kgauta then called for a person which whom I think is the manager by the name of Fikile Khoza hopefully that is her real name , Fikile Khoza came on such a defensive manner as she rush through explaining that she has to ask security questions then my question to Fikile was if I came to do a sim swap on the 12th of October and was told that my sim swap was not done why am I still being asked these questions? Fikile then further imp**** that my ID book will not help me with anything as it might probably be ****. I Then insisted that she escalates this to higher Authority. If anyone will read this please advise on whether I should forget about having the number back so can then cancel my other line on contract with Vodacom ?
