Poor service Vodacom

Vodacom has been a nightmare to deal with and not a single staff member from customer service to cancellations or the debtors department were able to assist me. Just over a month ago, I called in to terminate my contract with Vodacom as it was up for renewal , I requested that both my numbers *** and *** be moved to prepaid. The agent in charge assured me thag everything was done.

On 02/07/2020 I noticed my *** number has stopped working .

I immediately tried to call Vodacom but to my disappointment and 6 hours later, after being tossed back and forth on the phone, nothing was resolved and no staff member called back from Vodacom.

07/07/2020 I try to call in again to find out what is going on , I have been referred numerous times holding on for 3 hours only to be told that I cannot be helped.

Eventually after 4 hours, an agent decided to assist , only to find out that my *** has been totally cancelled of the network and my *** number was also going be offline from 26/07/2020 , yet I was still debited on my account , I really cannot understand why a simple request to move two of my numbers to prepaid has become such a headache for me. And to top it off, the agents are still trying to sell me data packages while my issues have still not sorted out.

8/07/2020 I contacted Vodacom on facebook to laybthe complaint there. This was done at 8am. I follwed up again at 1pm and at 3pm I received a reference number "Your query has been escalated to one of our Solution Experts. Your ref number is: *** Visit www.vodacom.co.za/app from your phone. Thank you, Vodacom <Service RequestOwner Group >".

9/07/2020 go to the store in which I took out my contracts greenstone vodacom, yet again the agents say to me sorry sir they cannot help me I need to call in there isn't anything they can do

This makes Vodacom non-compliant with TCF (Treating Customers Fairly). According to TCF outcomes, as a service provider of this nature, Vodacom should NOT create post sale barriers i.e barries for canceling contracts or even just getting a response. The manner in which me as a customer is being treated is ridiculous. If this matter is not resolved within the next 48 hours, I will be escalating to the Ombudsman!
