Poor Service Overall

My credit card expired. Received several SMSs to contact customer care on 111 to update. Tried twice. Each contact with call center extremely annoying, due to extensive and unnecessary IVR dialogue and poor voice artists. Got through to one agent with poor english language capability and extensive background noise. When we eventually got to the point where she asked me for my credit card number, the line dropped while I was dictating the number. Another call with a line drop event. Eventually I get to speak to another agent - also lacking good english language capability and with high background noise - I am told that only accounts department can change the number, but accounts don't work today (Saturday). So what was wrong with the first agent who was happy to take down my number? After terminating the call, I got hold of the "myvodacom" website to find the accounts telephone number, unfortunately, none was listed. Overall time wasted: more than 30 minutes with zero result. No option to update the card number on the "myvodacom" site, like with very other professional business. Overall impression: Disgusting service. On another subject: My Vodacom phones are essentially unusable at my home in the center of Cape Town, due to ongoing very poor voice quality and dropped calls. This has been reported to Vodacom many times since 10 years with no result.
