Poor Service from Vodacom Shop Eastgate

I downgraded my contract on the 4th January 2018. I was told that the contract expired at the end of January and I would pay the new rates from the 1st of February. it is now march and the contract is still being billed at the old rates. Despite my many calls and repeat visits to the store in Eastgate, The contract has still not been updated. the manager at the store promised me that it would be sorted out within a week at best. Clearly somebody is lying and given the size and market strength of Vodacom, there is no need to provide any decent level of service. Yer another large corporation that has no regard for customer service which forces clients to take to public platforms such as this to get issues sorted out as the conventional channels are just met with lies and non-performance. I am sure I will get a speedy resolution after this post as the image of the organisation is far more valuable than the customer that gives Vodacom its revenue. Another noteworthy mention is that the actual complaint was only formalised 3 weeks after the original complaint in the Vodacom Shop in Eastgate after 5 phone calls and 3 in-store visits.

Just an update. This has still not been resolved despite Vodacom making a commitment to resolve it by the end of March. I have been overcharged and the credit has not been passed. It seems that quick Initial action is taken from Vodacom to get their complaint resolution statistics to look favorable but there is no continuity and delivery on their promises. It is now April and the original issue started in February. Please take a look at the lead times in your service levels as this is another example of a large corporate making too much money and losing the plot when it comes to customer service.
