Poor service from Vodacom Repairs
I had a problem with my Nokia 2 cell phone whereby it didn't come on when I switch it and I took it to Vodacom repairs at Jabulani Mall on the 04th August 2018 as I believe that when the cell phone have a software problem I must take it back to the service provider so that the qualified technicians will resolve the issue. As a valued Vodacom customer that has been using Vodacom since, I was expecting them to update me about the process of repair by sending sms's as usual when my phone is on repair but they did not update me with any progress. I tried to call the number that appear on my job card but found that it didn't exist until I got the chance on the 25th August 2018 to go and check on what is happening with my phone. They told me that my phone was back 3 days after from repair center, however I was not informed. They gave me the phone and I signed. When arrived at home trying to connect the phone I found that the screen is not straight on the right hand side and when I checked it, found that it was cut off next to the volume button and when I insert the sim card try to make the call, the volume was lowering down until could not hear the person I was talking to. Even when I listened music on my phone the volume was still going down until I check the volume button and find out that it has got a cut off dent down for that reason the volume is going down and the button is no longer working. On the 8th September 2018 I took the phone back and I explained that I brought the phone for software problem but it came back damaged and for that I can't take the damage phone. The consultant booked for it and said he will take it back to repairs again and they will decide what to do with it and they will inform me. On Tuesday I got sms telling me to contact Vodacom Repairs within 2 days to accept or decline the offer. I called immediately to their number ********** and I spoke to the consultant by name of Cynthia at around 14H56. She told me that they fixed my phone but will have to pay +-R800 . I was so confused and did not understand what is it for because firstly the reason to bring my phone to Service Provider was a Software problem and my phone is still under warranty, however they brought back the phone damaged while fixing it and for that reason, I took it back and explained that I don't want this damage phone because mime was not physical damaged while bring it to repairs and I explained to the consultant(Cynthia) who said she will relay my complaint and come back to me however till today no one came back to me. I bought a Smart phone for so many reasons that I am using it for, but now I'm stacked as I do not have a phone and I am not prepare to pay anything as whatever happened to that phone was not my fault. Is there any one can assist me to resolve this issue? My first job card number: ********** 8 and my second job card number : ********** 3
