Poor Service from Vodacom Fibre
On the 15th of July I called Vodacom Fibre Support *** from Vodacom Fibre Support call centre to notify Vodacom that I will not have fund going forward on my bank account since I have lost my job. I requested to change banking details. Mkhize further declined my wife's banking details (since she's third party) to avoid penalty charges, I then requested the debit order to be removed/canceled since I will be paying via eft. NB. He never mentioned that they will be an ongoing R100.88 "Monthly fee" for cancelling the debit order agreement.
Mkhize provided banking details and I made a payment via Eft on the 25th of July 2022 and sent proof of payment through to: @*** *** Legal. *** and ***
26 July 2022 - My bank notified me of an unpaid debit order from Vodacom.
I received an acknowledgment generated email from Vodacom Ref: EC-1EEET-3263N4
I receive a correspondence email regarding the above mentioned reference number from Sibongile @*** she mentioned that my reference number was incorrect POP has been sent to finance for allocation.
Sibongile confirmed that my pop has been allocated and the case has been closed on the 26th July 2022.
2 weeks later my connection was cancelled. I called in (spend 2 hours on the line while being transferred from 1 pillar to post). I was given 2 email addresses to send through proof of payment AGAIN.later that day the service was restored I was back online.
31 Aug 2022 - I made an Eft payment of R700 from my wife's bank account. I sent through POP to @*** @*** and *** the payment was allocated accordingly.
08 Sep 2022 - My connection was suspended, I called the Vodacom Fibre Support @*** he mentioned that I have an outstanding payment of R1258.20 and an addition of 2 × R100.88 for an unpaid debit order which I already cancelled. I was requested to send July proof of payment to ***
09 Sep 2022 - I receive an email from Nkululeko Vilakazi - Ref: EC-1EJW-2IELPM requesting proof of payment. He added that he will ask Cash office to allocate POP to be allocated accordingly.
Few minutes later my connection was reinstated.
14 Sep 2022 - I received an Outstanding Account Warning letter from Vodacom @*** Stating that the amount of R1458.96 is still outstanding it needs to be paid within 7 day.
I made contacts via email to Nkululeko @*** and *** requesting the matter to be solved so that my connection should not be suspended. I received no reply from the *** including Nkululeko which the email was addressed to.
16 Sep 2022 - My connection is still suspended. I have been in a call with several consultants including @*** @*** and Koketso from The Collections department they all requested the same POP.
Just receive a letter my account has been handed over to FTTH Billing. WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE????
