Poor service from Vodacom

I have had a Vodacom phone contract since about 1990. I have paid every month by debit order. I want to take a small data contract for R99 for when I am not at home. I am apparently a 700 with finance customer but they now want 3 months bank statements plus plus. If they do not know me by now they never will. Well thats it. Next year May I say goodby to Vodacom!
