Poor Service from Vodacom

Number: ********** 572

On the 9 May 2018 I upgraded my contract and thereafter received a Samsung S9 Plus. On the 25 June 2018 I realised that I suddenly could not hear when somebody called me or I called them.

I then took the phone to Vodacom Repair Centre in Centurion (Tel: ********** 908), (Job Number ********** 3) and was told it is a speaker problem. They booked the phone in. On Friday, 06 July 2018, after many phone calls to them I am told there is a mother board problem and repair can take up to 21 days. Now today we are in three weeks that I am without a phone and they still cannot repair it. My device needs to be replaced immediately.

I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for many years and right now I feel very compromised. I have been without a phone for two weeks.

Obviously this phone has some factory fault and I should be given a new phone. I need urgent assistance as I cannot be without my phone any longer.

Furthermore the device is not even two months old and I will still have to pay the contract for the next two years. I should be provided with a proper phone in good condition as I have to pay for it. Also this should not be held against me as I am without a device. Vodacom and the manufacturer should be at fault.
