Poor service delivery at Vodacom store (next to Guess) in Clearwater

My 2month old Iphone 6s gave me an overheating warning and switched off. The phone would not switch back on. My wife took the phone in to the Vodacom store in Clearwater mall next to the Guess shop on Thursday 29 August. When my wife first arrived at the store she was told to wait for an assistant (Nolo) which was already a long wait as Nolo was busy flirting with some other man. When Nolo got round to assisting my wife, half heartedly booked the phone in. My wife asked was concerned as Nolo was not very attentive booking the phone and she inquired of Nolo if the phone will be looked after and not scratched - Nolo just laughed at my wife. My wife was given a customer receipt and was told that on the Monday 2 September I should expect a call from Vodacom.

I received a call from Nolo on Tuesday 3 Sep telling me that my phone has come back but it is still not fixed as she admitted - after a big argument with her - that she should have informed us to log off Icloud at the time my wife handed it in so that they could work on it. This was not communicated to my wife.

Nolo then proceeds to ask me for my I cloud password to log off and tells me she will not do anything with my password. I refused to hand over my information which lead to another argument in which Nolo said that the situation was my fault.

I proceeded and asked her for her managers information, which she responded saying that she would give him my details to contact back as he was in a meeting.

Because of the issue of the icloud Iog off, I made an arrangement and successfully logged off of icloud so that Vodacom could proceed with fixing my phone.

I followed up back the same day as not to delay this process any further as I need my phone for work. I spoke to another lady as I did not want to deal with Nolo as she is rude. I proceed to give her my name and the job number and told her that I have logged off of Icloud now so they can send the phone back to get fixed, which she confirmed that they would send back to Vodacom.

I waited until the following Wednesday 11 Sep 2019. I phoned Nolo as I had no feedback from the store. Nolo then tells me that the phone has not been sent back as she said that I said I would come into the store to log off. I said no such thing. I asked to speak to her manager again and after another argument she puts her manager on. After telling him the whole story and finding out that she did not give my information to him and that she **** about me saying I was coming into the store to log of icloud. All he could do was say sorry.

The service that I have received is shocking. I have had no assistance, no feedback from the store and still my phone has not been fixed.

The staff at Vodacom have not in any way considered how this has inconvenienced me. I have been without a phone for more than 2 weeks now.

If Nolo performed her job properly I would not be in this situation. There has been no apology from the Store nor it's management. I am still without a phone as I'm still waiting for it get come back fixed.
