Poor service delivery
Dear Vodacom
One the 14 August 2021 I reported a case of ********** sim swap of the case number: EC-17SI-363FCX. on the 15 August 2021 I went to Woodlands VodaShop to do my sim swap and I was told that I need to go to the police station to do an affidavit to claim my number back because it was on another person's name, and I was also told that the Sim swap was done at one of your VodaShop but they don't know which one.
I want to know what happened and I will be glad if you can Provide me with the full information includind CCTV so that I will know the person who did this. now the bank made a decision that they wont refund me my R65000 because I am liable for the OTP's which went to my number the and that was the time I couldn't receive any messages because there was no network on my phone, and that was the time R152 000 was transferred from my notice deposit account to my cheque account.
Please note that the bank managed to reverse R84000 last Thursday but they mentioned that they can't refund me the outstanding R65000 because Vodacom is the cause of this. The funny part is I never lost my ID and driver's license but someone managed to do a sim swap at one of your shops. Why are you gambling with our life? If someone can manage to get to your phone he/she will probably know anything about you. Are we safe with Vodacom? If we are safe, how safe are we? Are you going to pay my money back? I will be glad if you can reimburse my R63000 because this is all your fault, and I'm willing to take legal action against Vodacom if I don't get my money back.
On Wednesday and Friday I called your ***** department the whole day but no one answered my phone call and my emails. I even logged a complaint of the following: A2-OSXB-H7TS8 against your ***** department for not responding to my email and phone calls. I need detailed information on what happened in writing, I also need the update on this case since I'm in the dark. Please note that I even opened a case with the police.
Regards, Ian Mabaso
